MA in English Studies

The MA in English Studies allows students to develop their professional skills, intellectual curiosity as well as their capacity for self-expression.

Two options

The MA with thesis or travail dirigé is an expected prerequisite for doctoral studies.

While the MA with stage provides training for a variety of occupations in the fields of culture, publishing, public relations, and CEGEP teaching, it is not considered a preparatory degree for doctoral studies. Students in this option benefit from both academic and professional supervision.

Consult the Graduate Student's Guide for further information on this program.
